Job Overview:
The Field Service Specialist will be tasked with supporting the R391 (C130J) Composite Propeller System, both on-site and off-site.

In this capacity, you will serve as the product authority and primary contact for troubleshooting, training, planning, and logistical challenges to ensure the successful execution of contract obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
The Field Service Specialist will be responsible for executing intermediate and limited depot-level repairs.
You will guide and support the workgroup to achieve set objectives.

In this role, you will operate within established guidelines to make informed decisions, apply concepts to moderately complex issues, and address challenges through immediate action or short-term planning.

Your Duties Will Include:
- Adhering to the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Offering general technical guidance and support to the customer regarding the operation, maintenance, repair, logistical support, and installation of GE products.
- Providing on-site interpretation of technical data and instructions.
- Keeping Project and Field Service management informed about the status of customer issues, failures, trends, and overall environment.
- Delivering technical assistance through on-site training and guidance in the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned programs and ground support equipment, including the interpretation of technical data and instructions.
- Communicating with Product Support and Field Service about all program activities and challenges through regular, timely reports, which will include gathering, interpreting, and conveying significant market intelligence and sales opportunities for assigned programs and support.
- Assisting customers in scheduling maintenance and managing workload.
- Ensuring that equipment and parts adhere to established timelines.
- Analyzing reported malfunctions and identifying any undesirable trends, making recommendations based on findings.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs.
- Anticipating requirements that extend beyond immediate program impacts and aiding in the implementation of actions to meet those needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Field Service or Aviation Maintenance role, specifically in Turbo Prop/Shaft propulsion or Propeller systems.
- Must be able and willing to obtain and maintain a security clearance while based domestically in the U.S.
- This position requires the use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions, and applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
- GE will require proof of citizenship prior to employment.
- Must be able to operate under FAA certification to provide Certification of Conformity for the propeller.

Additional Eligibility:
GE will only employ individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this position. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screening (if applicable).

Compensation and Benefits:
The base pay range for this role is $89,000.00 USD plus Locality Pay. The specific compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission.
