Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Field Timekeeper at Wyatt Field Service. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll and invoicing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing: Process employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes, from our onboarding system to our payroll system.
  2. Time and Attendance: Verify employee documentation for accuracy and process employee Time & Attendance data from our Time system to payroll, reconciling variances as needed.
  3. Jobsite Manpower Reports: Update jobsite manpower reports daily to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours and productivity.
  4. Foreman Reports: Create, receive, and enter Daily Foreman Reports from Foremen and Superintendents at jobsites, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  5. Payroll Auditing: Audit and reconcile a wide range of payroll documents for up to 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  6. Training and Development: Cross-train team members in your specific area of expertise as needed, ensuring a high level of knowledge and skill within the team.
  7. Reporting and Analysis: Create or print a variety of payroll reports on demand, providing valuable insights and data to support business decisions.
  8. Customer Communication: Prepare weekly labor, equipment, and material timesheets for customer approval, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  9. Job Costing and Billing: Prepare weekly invoicing or assist with job cost functions, as needed, to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  10. Equipment and Travel Log: Maintain equipment rental and travel logs, ensuring accurate tracking of company assets and employee travel.
  11. Compliance and Auditing: Maintain data required for proper auditing procedures, including Foreman's timesheets, field Change Orders (FCO) documentation, signed customer timesheets, EQ sheets, etc.
  12. Additional Assignments: Perform additional assignments as directed by the Timekeeping Manager, Project Manager, or Project Controls Manager, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Highly Proficient Computer Skills: Proficiency in keyboard computer entry functions, as well as advanced ability to use Viewpoint and Time and Attendance Payroll Database functionality.
  • Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of payroll and accounting principles, as well as experience in construction or business office environments.
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or payroll.
  • License/Certification: Valid state-issued driver's license.
