As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be integral to the seamless and effective functioning of our logistics and transportation services. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all facets of the supply chain, including transportation, inventory management, warehousing, and customer relations. Your exceptional attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and propelling our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete transportation process, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating shipments.
- Collaborate closely with carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of products.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse personnel to maintain sufficient inventory.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing timely updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Identify potential logistics challenges and offer innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulations and laws governing transportation and logistics operations.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and make informed business decisions.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and other partners.
- Continuously assess and refine processes to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and training to new team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or transportation, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical abilities and capacity to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and logistics software.
- Prior experience with transportation management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws related to transportation and logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Compensation: $31,000 to $48,000 annually.
