About the Role:

The Director, Major Gifts Northwest is a key member of our major giving team responsible for cultivating and stewarding donors who can make a gift of $25,000+.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and solicit major gift prospects through personalized donor action plans and engagement activities.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of approximately 50-75 donors and prospects capable of making significant gifts.
  • Collaborate with senior-level leaders and volunteers to secure major gifts for U.S. Soccer.
  • Work within our prospect management system to track visits and solicitations.
  • Travel to visit donors and attend strategic events as needed.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or CFRE Certification preferred.
  • Minimum five years of front-line experience cultivating major gifts from individual donors.
  • Demonstrated success in securing gifts of $100,000 or more.
  • Comprehensive capital campaign fundraising experience.
  • Superior interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent identification, mentorship, and guidance.
  • Must be living in or relocate to Oregon, Washington, Colorado, or Utah.

This role offers an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
