Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely information to patients, including verbal instructions on how to complete forms
- Collect and enter confidential patient information into our electronic health record system
- Assess patient eligibility for healthcare grants and services
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure timely access to care
- Perform cash handling responsibilities, including preparing receipts and collecting payments
- Order and maintain inventory of forms and supplies
- Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in outreach efforts to ensure patients stay connected to La Clinica services
- Bilingual/bi-literate skills in English and Spanish required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum six months of work experience in a medical office setting or one year of experience in a high-volume direct public contact setting
- Basic life support certification (BLS) required
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
