Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients, including verbal instructions on how to complete forms
  • Collect and enter confidential patient information into our electronic health record system
  • Assess patient eligibility for healthcare grants and services
  • Coordinate patient appointments and ensure timely access to care
  • Perform cash handling responsibilities, including preparing receipts and collecting payments
  • Order and maintain inventory of forms and supplies
  • Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in outreach efforts to ensure patients stay connected to La Clinica services
Requirements
  • Bilingual/bi-literate skills in English and Spanish required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum six months of work experience in a medical office setting or one year of experience in a high-volume direct public contact setting
  • Basic life support certification (BLS) required
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
