Job Title: Regional HR Business Partner

Alsco is seeking a highly skilled Regional HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business results through strategic HR initiatives.

Job Summary:

The Regional HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing HR expertise to 13 union production facilities across the eastern United States. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, managing labor relations, and ensuring compliance with various laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain successful working relationships with leaders and HR teams to provide effective HR support and advice.
  • Manage and implement HR strategies at the plant and sales regions, balancing business partner and corporate HR initiatives.
  • Engage leadership in understanding HR initiatives, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Know and understand talent at all levels and recommend and implement succession and development strategies.
  • Manage OFCCP / AA / EEOC activities, compliance, and audits for the region.
  • Promote and maintain optimal labor / management relations.
Requirements:
  • Prior multi-location / multi-state experience.
  • Union/labor relations experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • At least 7 years HR generalist experience.
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office. Experience with UKG Pro a plus.
  • Experienced in legal compliance with various laws and regulations covering areas such as EEOC, OFCCP, FMLA, FLSA, workers' compensation, etc. Must demonstrate a mastery of the state-specific employment laws for the states within the Region.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • HR certification preferred.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate must have the ability to work from home and have a home office at their residence. Regular travel throughout the region is required and is estimated at 30-40%.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, writing, speaking, and hearing.
