Job Summary

The HR Business Partner – Corporate & Shared Services role is a key position within Enpro Inc. that oversees the day-to-day human resource functions for the Corporate and Shared Services departments. This includes all aspects of HR, such as employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, policy and procedure alignment, compensation and payroll-related topics, performance management, and compliance with state and federal laws.

This role will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate a culture focused on safety, respect, and business excellence. The ideal candidate will be a thought partner, coach, and collaborator who can bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to the organization.

  • Serving as HR operational support to Corporate and Shared Services leadership teams on human resources-related issues.
  • Partnering with management to analyze trends, metrics, and develop solutions, programs, and policies to keep the organization moving forward.
  • Designing and delivering targeted solutions with a high degree of focus on business expansion and optimization, including strategic planning, talent acquisition and management, development, change management, and employee relations.
  • Providing strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization.
  • Serving as the primary contact for payroll and leave of absence processing and related issues.
  • Proactively assessing team, manager, and organizational development needs, making recommendations, and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Analyzing trends, market data, and metrics to propose solutions based on business needs.
  • Driving talent management strategies to support a team's growth and individual development plans.
  • Analyzing training needs and partnering with the broader HR team in the development of programs.
  • Managing employee events and recognition activities.
  • Partnering closely with other HR partners within the AST and Sealing segments and within Enpro on overall HR business strategy and execution.
  • Working closely with leadership teams to support employee relations issues.
  • Participating and leading projects as an integral member of the extended HR team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, I/O psychology, or a related field. PHR or SHRM-CP certified.
  • Experience: 7+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.

  • Experience with union populations a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and strategically solving problems.
  • Coaching facilitation skills and experience.
  • Ability to create deep connections with individuals and teams to help identify individual and team development needs.
