About This Role

As a Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment, pursuing opportunities for both plan/spec and design/build or direct-to-owner projects.

This role is a great fit for you if you excel at building relationships, have outstanding customer service, and love working with cross-functional teams. This is the ideal role for those that are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities
  • Demonstrate expertise in Commercial HVAC
  • Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions
  • Manage complex multi-service solutions proposals
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline
  • Demonstrate well-developed sales skills to include expert awareness, commercial acumen, and integrity
  • Seek out and access new Modernization opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customers
  • Establish and build credibility
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships
  • Create compelling presentations and communicate effectively
  • Detect the Customer's buying stage and adjust selling accordingly
  • Manage multiple activities all occurring at the same time, organize others, and workflow to meet objectives on time
  • Anticipate future trends accurately
  • Adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment to gain the order/booking in a timely manner
  • Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets
  • Create high-quality timely estimates, bids, and proposals, including detailed cost-benefit analysis to support client's business case for investment.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 3+ years of B2B technical sales experience
  • Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, be comfortable working on roofs/platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years HVAC Solutions Sales experience
  • Knowledge of the industry, market, and key market participants: specifically medical, pharmaceutical, or education industry within the Boston area.
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based computer software
  • Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a pipeline of long Lead time projects
  • Strong knowledge of offerings and solutions within the industry
  • Understands the customers' decision-making processes, including the buyers and influencers
  • Possesses strong financial and business acumen
  • Understands when to introduce and coordinate other selling roles and support roles into the customer
Pay Range:
$74,181 - $130,206 Annually
