We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment and pursue opportunities for both plan/spec and design/build or direct-to-owner projects.

This role is ideal for individuals who excel at building relationships, have outstanding customer service skills, and love working with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for presenting at customer seminars, demonstrating expertise in Commercial HVAC, promoting Carrier's value proposition, and managing complex multi-service solutions proposals.

  • Pursue large opportunities to modernize customer equipment
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships
  • Promote Carrier's value proposition
  • Manage complex multi-service solutions proposals
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions and activities
  • Demonstrate well-developed sales skills
  • Seek out and access new modernization opportunities
  • Establish and build credibility with customers
  • Create compelling presentations and communicate effectively
  • Detect the customer's buying stage and adjust selling accordingly
  • Manage multiple activities simultaneously and organize workflow to meet objectives on time
  • Anticipate future trends accurately
  • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment to gain orders/ bookings in a timely manner
  • Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 3+ years of B2B technical sales experience
  • Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and work on roofs/platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of HVAC Solutions Sales experience
  • Knowledge of the industry, market, and key market participants
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment
  • Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a pipeline of long-lead time projects
  • Strong knowledge of offerings and solutions within the industry
  • Understands the customer's decision-making processes
  • Possesses strong financial and business acumen
  • Understands when to introduce and coordinate other selling roles and support roles into the customer
