TYM-North America is on the lookout for a proficient and seasoned Accounting Manager to become a vital part of our finance division. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a strategic leader to enhance and streamline our accounting functions.

Role Overview:

As the Accounting Manager at our tractor manufacturing organization, you will take a proactive role in overseeing the financial health of our enterprise. You will manage daily accounting activities, ensuring precision, adherence to regulations, and financial clarity while delivering exceptional service to our clients and dealership partners. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be instrumental in financial reporting, budgeting, and guiding the accounting team towards achieving departmental goals.

Key Duties:

  • Financial Reporting: Supervise the creation of precise and timely financial statements in line with GAAP. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to formulate and oversee the annual budgeting process. Provide financial forecasts and analyses to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment. Offer guidance on complex accounting matters and support professional growth.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure all accounts are accurately reconciled. Implement and uphold internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement. Offer insights and recommendations to support business initiatives.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filings.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, collaborating closely with treasury functions. Optimize working capital and liquidity to support business operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies. Implement best practices to improve the accuracy and speed of financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • An active CPA designation is required.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar capacity, preferably within a manufacturing context for at least 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems; familiarity with SAP Business 1 is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and other accounting software.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex concepts and risk factors to influence decision-making.
  • Skilled business partner, adept at building trust and inspiring others.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide strategic financial insights.
