About the Role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease, working closely with our clinical staff to deliver prescribed treatments.
  • Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan, promoting their understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, accurately documenting any changes or concerns.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment, ensuring efficient and effective care.
  • Insert and remove patient access needles, maintaining aseptic technique and patient safety.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, documenting changes and informing the charge nurse of any concerns.
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, determining patient care priorities and organizing workload accordingly.
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Maintain and track inventory, ensuring accurate and timely ordering of supplies and equipment.
  • Perform laboratory work, accurately collecting and processing samples as required.
