A Dialysis Registered Nurse (Float) plays a crucial role in delivering specialized nursing care at one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis facilities as part of a collaborative patient care team.

Our RNs are vital in ensuring that safe practices and optimal outcomes are prioritized for each patient.

Work Schedule:
This is a Float position. Full-time, four 10-hour shifts beginning at 5:45; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Compensation Package:
Salary range based on nursing and dialysis experience. $5,000 sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities:

What You Will Experience:
Prepare dialysis equipment, monitor alarms, and ensure treatment supplies meet quality standards
Administer hemodialysis treatments according to facility protocols
Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating any changes to physicians and families
Administer and document all prescribed medications
Adhere to CDC/CMS infection control guidelines
Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
Document necessary patient education efforts
Facilitate continuity of care with local healthcare facilities
Assist in maintaining medication inventory
Lead a small patient care team
Support the onboarding of new staff members as directed
Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:
Excellent communication abilities
Demonstrated clinical proficiency
Willingness to collaborate with healthcare teams
Strong problem-solving skills

Education and Training:
Accredited nursing degree required
Dialysis experience is not mandatory; job shadowing opportunities are available
