Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
The Field Service Engineer is tasked with the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at client locations, both domestically and internationally. Additional duties include providing remote support to clients via phone and computer, assisting with in-house testing, fabrication, and assembly of machinery, and contributing to business analysis.
- Installation of machinery at client sites.
- Troubleshooting and repair of equipment at client locations.
- Maintain technical readiness to address inquiries regarding equipment.
- Engage in meetings related to machine testing, equipment shipment, and technician preparation.
- Review Statements of Work (SOW) and other documentation for inconsistencies, reporting to the project manager.
- Assist with service and support calls, providing remote assistance when in the office.
Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer:
- 70-80% domestic travel required, with opportunities for international travel.
- Strong technical, mechanical, and electrical skills and experience.
- Proven troubleshooting abilities and experience.
- Preferred 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
- 3 years of experience utilizing mechanical and technical skills.
- An associate degree in electrical-mechanical or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
