Position Overview:
We are seeking a Surveying Operations Team Leader to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily functions of the field survey crew
  • Manage daily operations including construction staking, subdivision staking, boundary, and topographic surveys
  • Document daily field notes for ongoing projects
  • Conduct minor calculations in the field for accurate staking
  • Facilitate daily data uploads and downloads
  • Ensure proper maintenance of survey equipment and vehicles
  • Guide survey technicians in their tasks
  • Implement quality control measures
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required, with daily per diem provided for accommodations and meals
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in survey construction layout
  • Familiarity with Topcon equipment and magnet field software is advantageous
  • Proficient in performing data collector calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans effectively
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills to plan, schedule, and complete tasks within set deadlines
  • Able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, surveyors, architects, and technicians
