About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Specialist to join our Construction & Prefabrication Services (C&PS) team at Atkore International.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and revenue recognition models for construction projects.
  • Create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project activity and identify areas for improvement.
  • Audit project cost projections and report on variances to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and analyze supplier contracts and invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and application.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems.
