Responsibilities:


The Patient Registration Specialist is responsible for the precise intake of patient information and its entry into the hospital's computer system to establish patient accounts.

Verification of insurance and identification within the computer system is crucial for the accurate billing of every patient account. The Registration Specialist must obtain patient signatures and copies of patient IDs and insurance cards.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to type 45wpm preferred
  • Medical Terminology preferred
  • Knowledge of Insurance Verification/Authorization requirements preferred
  • Experience Preferred
Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation, and the current compensation range for this role is $25.70 to $25.70. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or employment status.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
