The Patient Registration Specialist is tasked with:
- Ensuring accurate patient identification
- Collecting comprehensive demographic information
- Verifying insurance details and eligibility
- Determining financial responsibilities for services rendered
- Guiding patients to financial counseling resources when necessary
The specialist adheres to established policies and procedures to manage patient financial obligations effectively. Additionally, this role serves as a valuable resource for patients and their families, providing clarity on hospital policies and patient rights.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare registration environment or related field
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
