Job Title: Standardized Patient - Clinical Skills Trainer
Job Summary:
Grand Canyon University is seeking part-time Standardized Patients to contribute to the development of the next generation of nursing professionals. As a Standardized Patient, you will portray various patient scenarios, provide feedback to students and faculty, and participate in healthcare simulation training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portray patient scenarios, including history, affect, behavior, and physical findings, in a standardized and accurate manner.
- Provide written and verbal feedback to students and faculty on clinical skills.
- Participate in ongoing feedback and case simulation training.
- Respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Be punctual and maintain scheduled appointments.
Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of appointments, with a schedule provided in advance.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to scheduled facilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
