Team Overview

The Alternative Investment Funds division is integral to Bloomberg's extensive private markets data, supporting the entire lifecycle from fund inception to closure, including all intermediary stages.

Our team caters to fund investors, managers, and advisors, offering the necessary data, solutions, and industry connections to elevate their fund and company evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional support to our content partners, ensuring their trust in our platform for their valuable data.
  • Foster, sustain, and enhance relationships with content partners to develop and implement effective technologies and workflows, facilitating the seamless onboarding of new data sets.
  • Lead and prioritize projects involving multiple partners to boost efficiency and return on investment.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of Account Managers, Technical Specialists, and Product Managers to gain insights into our clients' data requirements and significant market trends, shaping your account strategy accordingly.
  • Proactively manage campaigns to maintain engagement with content partners, ensuring the quality and reliability of contributed data.
  • Support colleagues in campaigns to uphold high standards across the team.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Alternative Investments, utilizing business intelligence to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for data enhancement.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant data technology or financial discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector, encompassing exchanges, market data providers, or financial institutions.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, with the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple client inquiries and projects concurrently.
  • Comprehensive understanding of capital markets and the investment lifecycle for private assets.
  • Experience in leveraging business intelligence to identify gaps and trends, or opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Proficiency in information technology and statistical analysis or programming languages such as Excel, SQL, and/or Python.
