Job Summary:

The Administrative Specialist II-Psych Admin will perform a combination of administrative, project, and secretarial work for the Director or Senior Director of the department of Psychiatry at Maine Medical Center.

This role requires a well-organized and detail-oriented individual who can maintain a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Provide secretarial support to the Director or Senior Director
  • Assist with projects and initiatives as needed
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Outlook

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Three years of experience in an administrative support role preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
