Position Summary


As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in patient assessment and preparation, contributing to a collaborative surgical team.

Key Responsibilities


In this role, you will:

  • Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile field during surgeries.
  • Prepare the surgical area according to specific procedural requirements.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments to ensure patient understanding and readiness.
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Uphold high standards of nursing care and professionalism.
Qualifications


To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program; a BSN is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an operating room setting.
  • A valid Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • CNOR certification is preferred.
