- Participate in unit-based scorecard initiatives to drive improvement in patient satisfaction, quality, and safety.
- Develop and Maintain Clinical Expertise
- Stay current with best practices, research, and regulatory requirements in nursing and healthcare.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with Interprofessional Team Members
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- Education
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience
- Two years of registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
- Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
- Certifications
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification - in applicable specialty area.
- Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job.
