Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care in the pre-operative and post-operative phases.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments of patients to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions between phases of care.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
- Develop and implement educational programs to promote patient understanding and empowerment.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse required.
- 2 years medical surgical experience, with preference for post anesthesia care experience.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) and certification is required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support course (PLS or PCLS) and certification is required.
