Job Opportunity at Blue Water Thinking

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Junior Program Analyst to support our team in a large project at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role involves working closely with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to analyze and evaluate various healthcare programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support program planning, audits, and evaluations related to healthcare programs and projects.
  • Contribute to program analysis and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Assist in integrated master scheduling and event planning.
  • Support Congressional Affairs activities and metrics reporting.
  • Develop and manage financial management systems.
  • Contribute to risk management efforts and ensure compliance with established guidelines and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide input on program improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to program activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in program analysis, evaluation, and management.
  • Proven ability to support program planning, audits, and evaluations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare agencies.
  • Certification in Project Management or Program Evaluation.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation:
  • Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • The proposed salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
