POSITION: Housekeeper/Room Attendant
JOB SUMMARY
Are you a personable individual who enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests? Do you thrive in a collaborative and energetic atmosphere? As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations, ensuring that every visitor feels valued and comfortable. Your role is vital in promoting a positive image of our establishment and enhancing guest satisfaction through meticulous service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver consistent, professional, and friendly service to guests; proactively address their needs and inquiries regarding their stay; respond promptly to requests and concerns.
- Complete all necessary training as mandated by the Executive Housekeeper, including health and safety protocols; adhere to brand standards and emergency procedures.
- Prepare guest rooms for cleaning according to hotel standards, which includes tasks such as making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Familiarize yourself with the hotel’s lost and found policy and ensure that any items left behind are reported to the Executive Housekeeper promptly.
- Perform additional duties as required to exceed guest expectations and enhance their experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least six months of relevant experience in hospitality or cleaning services preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Prior experience in the hospitality field is preferred.
- Experience as a housekeeper or in janitorial services is advantageous.
- Ability to follow instructions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Dependability and adherence to grooming standards.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Proactive approach to anticipating guest needs and providing exceptional service.
- Commitment to representing the hotel positively and embracing diversity.
