Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks in guest units, buildings, pools, and common areas.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to repair and troubleshoot carpentry, plumbing, electric, and HVAC issues.
  • Repair and install appliances as needed with minimal supervision.
  • Perform maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, and tubs.
  • Prevent and troubleshoot electrical issues on equipment, fixtures, outlets, and switches.
  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance in units and public areas.
  • Report, respond to, and repair safety issues in guest units, buildings, pools, common areas, and equipment.
  • Complete daily assignments in a timely manner and prioritize work orders against daily assignments.
  • Maintain the appearance of the property by picking up trash and debris, responding to spills, cleaning exterior fixtures, and performing minor plaster repair.
  • Apply wallpaper, paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Maintenance position, preferably within hotels.
  • Preferred but not necessary: Two (2) years of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical discipline.
