Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Electromechanical Reliability Testing Specialist to create and implement testing protocols aimed at assessing the durability and performance of our diverse product range, which includes advanced metering solutions and network communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Research and Development teams to evaluate component and system longevity in various operational environments, ensuring product reliability.
- Design and develop testing methodologies and fixtures tailored to our product offerings.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to gather insights on customer expectations and usage, utilizing this data to enhance testing and analysis processes.
- Conduct product testing in accordance with North American and international certification standards.
- Apply Six Sigma principles to establish critical performance metrics, formulate testing strategies, and analyze performance data to enhance long-term reliability.
- Coordinate with external testing facilities as needed to perform comprehensive evaluations.
- Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for both electrical and mechanical systems, and assist in troubleshooting at the board level.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in testing and verification preferred.
- Familiarity with testing electro-mechanical products is advantageous; experience with international product testing is a plus.
- Proficiency in hardware testing under various environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, vibration) is desirable.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of test automation programming, particularly in languages such as C#, Java, or C++, is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with environmental and mechanical stress testing equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of testing standards such as Mil-Std-810, Telcordia/NEBS, and others is advantageous.
