Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize bulk caulk guns and standard tubes to apply sealants into designated joints.
- Conduct thorough inspections of joints to verify soundness and appropriate dimensions.
- Prepare joints by packing with backer rods to maintain proper depth and eliminate three-sided adhesion.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as necessary.
- Apply joint primer with appropriate tools to ensure a smooth finish that aligns with masonry standards.
- Implement damming techniques for self-leveling products to maintain material integrity within joints.
- Mix materials as required, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Access high or difficult-to-reach areas using various lifting equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools using appropriate solvents, following safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience or training.
- Familiarity with reading construction plans and experience in below-grade waterproofing or caulking is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
Work Environment:
- Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, high places, and potentially hazardous materials.
- Noise levels in the work environment can be elevated.
Physical Requirements:
