This role involves working with a range of materials including silicone, urethane, and acrylic-based sealants to ensure effective waterproofing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize bulk caulk guns and standard tubes to apply sealants into designated joints.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of joints to verify soundness and appropriate dimensions.
  • Prepare joints by packing with backer rods to maintain proper depth and eliminate three-sided adhesion.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as necessary.
  • Apply joint primer with appropriate tools to ensure a smooth finish that aligns with masonry standards.
  • Implement damming techniques for self-leveling products to maintain material integrity within joints.
  • Mix materials as required, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Access high or difficult-to-reach areas using various lifting equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tools using appropriate solvents, following safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience or training.
  • Familiarity with reading construction plans and experience in below-grade waterproofing or caulking is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

Work Environment:

  • Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, high places, and potentially hazardous materials.
  • Noise levels in the work environment can be elevated.

Physical Requirements:
