Xylem is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at our Morrisville facility. As a key member of our Quality department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Inspection Lab Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the Inspection Lab, ensuring that all processes are followed and maintained.
  • Inspect Incoming Parts and Materials: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming parts and materials using precision measuring equipment and techniques.
  • Verify Inspection Results: Compare inspection results against engineering drawings and other product documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate Inspection Findings: Create inspection reports and communicate findings to Quality Engineering and Production teams.
  • Identify Trends and Opportunities: Analyze inspection results to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Production and Engineering departments to resolve non-conforming product issues.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with other quality-related tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CMM and other high-precision measuring equipment, as well as experience with CMM programming and MCOSMOS.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
