Job Description

Overview

Soho House & Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of food and beverage staff to deliver exceptional customer service and experiences
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
    • Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve business objectives
  • Service Standards and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality and consistency
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that all food and beverages meet our standards
  • Menu Development and Purchasing
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement new menu concepts and promotions
    • Source and purchase high-quality ingredients and supplies to support our menu offerings
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the food and beverage budget to ensure profitability and efficiency
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase sales
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional customer experiences
    • Respond to customer feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Staffing and Training
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food and beverage staff
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and beverage services meet the highest standards of health and safety
    • Develop and implement processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to problem-solve in high-volume and demanding fast-paced environments
  • Experience with POS systems, Open Table, Opera, or other hospitality-driven technologies
  • Passionate and influential leader who positively communicates cross-functionally and leads a team to drive efficient and effective best practices through service
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet/exceed financial targets
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded as well as flexible and proactive

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands
  • Must be able to make periodical fast-paced movements to go from one part of the property to others
  • Must be able to move, pull, push, carry, or lift at least 30 pounds
  • Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
