Job Summary

The VP; Business Development Officer is a key role at Ocean Bank, responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic portfolio management and commercial loan and deposit sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Ocean Bank's commercial loan and deposit portfolio.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial loans and deposits, ensuring optimal growth and profitability.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote Ocean Bank's commercial loan and deposit products.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws and regulations, and manage risk associated with commercial loan and deposit portfolio.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial banking, with a proven track record of business development and portfolio management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and services, as well as relevant banking laws and regulations.
Working Arrangements

This role will be based in Miami, Florida, and will require regular travel to meet with clients and prospects.
