Business Development Manager

Core Group Resources, a leading recruitment company, is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive business growth and expand the company's commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in maritime emergency response, salvage, and related services.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with the operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure successful project execution and financial performance.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, bids, and tenders for new projects.
- Manage the commercial aspects of ongoing projects, including contract management, invoicing, and dispute resolution.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management on commercial performance and business development activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Maritime Academy degree.
- 5 years of experience in commercial management, chartering, ship brokerage, seagoing/mariner experience, shipping, or related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 20% Travel.
