About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Employee Benefits team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in the eastern OH and Pittsburgh, PA territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and centers of influence to expand the distribution of our Employee Benefit products and services.
  • Build a strong, visible presence in the assigned territory through effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Develop and manage a meaningful pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Closing Employee Benefit business and generating new opportunities from prospect to closure.
  • Achieving activity and revenue targets while assisting the Regional Vice President in developing and implementing the RGO marketing plan.
  • Conducting sales and product seminars as necessary.
  • Managing the assigned territory to achieve net quote activity levels that meet selling objectives.
  • Utilizing Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data to expand market presence and increase sales production.
  • Developing a plan to achieve case activity targets that aligns with our core strategy.

Requirements:

  • Established broker relationships with experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life.
  • Produce within the assigned territory and achieve satisfactory sales results and submissions of OneAmerica/AUL products.
  • Exceptional skill in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with a collaborative style.
  • Advanced ability to develop strategies and business plans then deliver on established objectives.
  • Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills.
  • Able to travel up to 50% to meet with targeted prospects.
  • Bachelor's Degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Life and Health license.
  • Minimum of five years of Employment Benefit Sales experience.
