POSITION SUMMARY

The Bilingual Programs and Hispanic Initiatives Manager at OCP will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Spanish and bilingual educational programs that enhance OCP's offerings and foster customer loyalty, particularly among Hispanic communities. This position will also focus on building and nurturing strategic partnerships with Hispanic Catholic organizations, dioceses, bishops, and pastors to guide OCP's decisions in product development, outreach, marketing, and promotion tailored to both current and emerging markets. Additionally, the manager will explore new revenue opportunities through monetizable content and programs, directly supporting product development, marketing, music outreach, digital initiatives, and sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and enhance OCP's Hispanic-Latino educational programs both internally and externally.
  • Identify and analyze the needs of Spanish-speaking audiences to develop relevant content and programs.
  • Collaborate with the Center for Learning Manager to create a strategic plan for OCP's thought leadership content and programs aimed at Spanish-speaking audiences, including both monetized and non-monetized options.
  • Support and streamline the booking process for Hispanic educational events and programs, including content, presenters, marketing, sales, and registration.
  • Engage with internal and external teams to design and implement Spanish and bilingual programs.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the return on investment for key programs and assess their impact.
  • Assist the Center for Learning Manager in identifying and developing new revenue streams.
  • Create educational content for OCP's virtual event platform, including both live and on-demand programs, and support the execution of in-person events.
  • Represent OCP's mission at conferences, conventions, and educational events.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in designing and analyzing research to identify relevant topics for Spanish educational content and programs, as well as innovative opportunities for the Hispanic-Latino community.
  • Collaborate across the organization to pinpoint growth opportunities within the Hispanic-Latino demographic.
  • Explore new distribution channels for video and audio streaming programs.
  • Establish partnerships to stay informed about the needs of US Hispanic Catholics.
  • Conduct research to identify content and program topic areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in theology, marketing, music, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intercultural competency, particularly within diverse Hispanic-Latino ecclesial settings.
  • Strong understanding of Catholic theology and liturgy.
  • Familiarity with OCP's worship programs.
  • Knowledge of stewardship and development in a Hispanic-Latino pastoral context.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in developing partnerships in the event/media space.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional collaboration, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in the music industry is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to OCP's mission and core values.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in theology, marketing, music, or a related field.
  • Background in music education and program development for Catholic parishes serving Hispanic-Latino communities.
  • Established relationships with Hispanic Ministry leaders nationwide.
  • Knowledge of the content and resources of Center for Learning Spanish educational programs.
  • Experience collaborating with Catholic organizations serving Hispanic Ministry communities at the national level.
  • High-level musicianship in a Catholic liturgical context.
  • Published music compositions with a Catholic publishing organization.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The estimated starting salary range is between $87,300 and $93,700, based on qualifications and experience.
