Radial, a leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Wave Coordinator. Our omnichannel solutions leverage advanced technology and analytics to streamline the e-commerce processes from start to finish, reducing costs for our clients while enhancing the customer experience.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Wave Coordinator utilizes the Fulfillment Center Warehouse Management System (WMS) to allocate tasks across the available workforce in the Fulfillment Center (FFC) in the most effective way possible. The incoming client orders and the release of 'picks' are managed across the physical FFC and the process pathways (single, multi, ship alone) through software, mathematical calculations, and ongoing communication in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong grasp of priorities and manage the Expeditor to understand priorities and expedite as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with outbound supervisors.
  • Possess a solid understanding of WMS wave planning software to assess issues and enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Investigate and resolve workflow issues using knowledge of all distribution center operations.
  • Effectively relay issues and instructions to associates.
  • Evaluate work processes for efficiency improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and conduct work in a safe and careful manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
  • Prior experience in wave planning or expediting is preferred.
  • Proactive attitude – readily volunteers, seeks additional responsibilities, and offers assistance when needed.
  • Reliable attendance – consistently present and punctual, adhering to break and lunch time limits.
  • Dependability – follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for actions, keeps commitments, and works required overtime when necessary.
  • Motivation – sets and achieves challenging objectives.
  • Communication – provides information and guidance in a professional manner.
  • Acts as a role model for associates.

  • Familiarity with warehouse layout and knowledge of the supervisor in charge of each area.
  • Must have the visual acuity to read labels and RF scanners and navigate the facility.
  • Ability to hear and comprehend verbal instructions.
  • Capability to walk or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and grasp products.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position is not remote.
  • No travel is required.

Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday 5 PM - 1:30 AM or Thursday to Sunday 5 PM - 3:30 AM
