Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Department Management: Direct and control the operation of the GM/HBC department, including supervising and training GM/HBC Clerks, scheduling and assigning duties, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly rotated and expired products are removed from shelves.
  • Merchandising: Implement and maintain the merchandising program, including changing signs and prices as directed by merchandising, and ensuring that displays are properly stocked and faced.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop GM/HBC Clerks to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent customer service and perform their job duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of GM/HBC Clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure they are able to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management Skills: Ability to conduct daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Merchandising Skills: Ability to implement and maintain the merchandising program, including changing signs and prices as directed by merchandising.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, GM/HBC Clerks, and other store employees, providing clear and concise instructions and feedback.
