Talent Acquisition Manager Job Description

Absher is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to help our employee-owned company find and retain excellent employees. As a key member of our team, you will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand, and ensure great relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with departments to forecast hiring needs and identify critical qualities of desired candidates.
  • Create a sustainable talent acquisition recruitment strategy and techniques to include resource recommendations for access to talent.
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.).
  • Ensure positive candidate experiences.
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers, or other events.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Motivate employees to be brand ambassadors and promote the employee referral program.
  • Source and discover top talent for open positions using job boards.
  • Design, plan, and execute recruitment and selection processes.
  • Plan procedures for enhancing the candidate and new hire experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a talent acquisition manager, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well-organized.
  • A leader and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to discover bottlenecks in the recruiting procedure.
  • Quick decision-making skills.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and promotion of a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and training.
