About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at the UNC Infectious Diseases Clinic. As a key member of our outpatient parenteral antimicrobial treatment program, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with complex infectious diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment protocols and best practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the clinic.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in infectious diseases or a related field.
