Job Title: Clinical Nurse II

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing team.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others.
  • Evaluate patient care and seek guidance as needed in revision of plan of care.
  • Implement care plans and prioritize tasks for patients with complex problems.
  • Lead by example and promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment.
  • Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of relevant and current experience required.
