We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care.
- Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others, and attend education programs based on identified learning needs.
- Evaluate patient care and seek guidance as needed in revision of plan of care.
- Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Develop relationships with families to promote their ability to advocate for the patient and their own needs.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
