Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote patient-centered care and achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
