Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Virgin Galactic. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and control of raw materials, supplies, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive and document all inbound deliveries, maintain records of receipts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Control: Visually monitor inventory levels, communicate low levels to stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Material Handling: Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations and load/unload freight trucks as required.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with Procurement and Production Control personnel to ensure on-time delivery of materials and products to meet customer needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in a Supply Chain environment, preferably in high technology, advanced materials, or aerospace industries.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and experience with material movement and computerized inventory management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, navigate stairs, push/pull, kneel, and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
What We Offer

As a Logistics Coordinator at Virgin Galactic, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the success of our mission to make space travel accessible to everyone. We offer a competitive salary range of $47,840.00–$66,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
