About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Director to join our team at the American Heart Association. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve revenue targets and support our mission.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, donors, and volunteers.
  • Lead and manage a team of fundraising professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
