Houseperson Job Description

We're seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Houseperson. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel, including guest hallways, elevator landings, and linen closets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure guest corridors and service landings are clean and organized.
  • Remove trays from guest floors and maintain cleanliness of stairwells.
  • Dust baseboards and pictures in guest corridors daily.
  • Keep guest elevator landings clean and move furniture upon request.
  • Complete guest requests and ensure hotel guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
  • Stock assigned service landing closets with proper linen and supply par levels.
  • Empties Guest Room linens and garbage on an hourly basis or as needed.
  • Assist Guest Room and communicate with them for stripping guest rooms.

Requirements:

  • Physical stamina to lift, push and pull heavy amounts of weight on a consistent basis.
  • Good communication skills and ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
  • Ability to bend, stoop and climb.
  • Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
