Key Responsibilities
  • Verify accuracy of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Ensure room set-up adheres to BEO directions
  • Maintain public areas' cleanliness
  • Communicate with group representatives and explain how to contact us if needed
  • Coordinate with catering office and affected departments regarding BEO changes
  • Operate as a banquet server: setting up, greeting, serving guests, and breaking down functions
  • Inspect banquet areas at the end of each function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and areas are clean
  • Recap all banquet checks at the end of each day and submit them to Night Audit
  • Familiarize yourself with menu offerings and explain major ingredients and preparation methods to guests
