Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and organized individual to support our Creative Director in managing ongoing projects and providing exceptional design services. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending client meetings, tracking project deliverables, and managing schedules, budgets, and bid documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist the Creative Director in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring client deadlines and design expectations are met.
  • Design Communication: Create clear and concise design presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
  • Schematic Design: Support the creation of design concepts, including mood boards, color palettes, material selections, and space planning tailored to client preferences.
  • Material Selection: Collaborate with the Senior Designer to select high-quality finishes, fixtures, lighting, and appliances, while maintaining alignment with budget and aesthetic goals.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure materials and services, overseeing installation processes to ensure high-quality results and adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro (or similar software), Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva.
  • Experience: 12 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture, with a strong passion for both the design and construction process.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail and organizational skills essential.

  • Reliable personal transportation for travel between client sites and the project office.

Compensation

This is a full-time role with a competitive hourly rate of $55-$65 per hour, based on experience.
