About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join our team in Plantation, FL. The successful candidate will work on designing and developing world-class mission-critical communications equipment, utilizing CMOS technologies (180 to 22 nm) and integrating digital processor IP and/or custom digital interface design or verification tasks for mixed-signal integrated circuit devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-speed digital ICs using Verilog RTL-level designs, debug, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Implement interfaces, state machines, and controlling logic required to create new products.
  • Perform digital synthesis, place-and-route, static timing analysis, logical equivalence checking, gate-level simulation, SCAN insertion, power, and EMIR analysis, low-power design (UPF/CPF).
  • Integrate IP, floor planning, clock, and power distribution.
  • Model, implement, and verify SPI, SSI, AXI, AHB interfaces, digital filters, digital control loops, ADCs, and DACs.
Requirements:
  • MSEE or BSEE with 2+ years of Digital and/or Mixed Signal IC design experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Verilog (preferred) or VHDL fluency in design, simulation, and verification domains.
  • Ability to own and drive design assignments to completion.
  • Ability to master the full digital design flow including back-end physical design.
