About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Ops Developer IV to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting complex, high-performance batch processing code using Python and open-source technologies such as XGBoost, Ray, Pandas, and Numpy.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and software development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines that support business-critical applications. Your expertise in cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps will enable us to deliver fast-paced solutions that meet the needs of our growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance batch processing code using Python and open-source technologies
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using cloud computing and containerization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with business-critical applications
  • Provide expert-level support for data science and engineering projects
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in machine learning and data engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Python development, with a focus on back-end batch data processing
  • Expert-level skills in XGBoost, SHAP, Pandas, and Numpy
  • Advanced-level skills in Docker images, containers, and builds
  • Advanced-level skills in SQL, including high-volume aggregation, join, and nested queries
  • Familiarity with mathematics and statistics, including algebra, proportions, and basic statistics
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Analytics
  • Experience working with Telecom/Cable MSO data and applications
  • Experience working with Tableau
  • Redshift SQL and navigation

Estimated Salary Range: $125,000 - $180,000 per year
