As an Administrative Specialist-Detention, you will provide general administrative support to the Detention Center, including maintaining files and databases, producing reports, and providing customer service assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Detention Center, including maintaining files and databases, producing reports, and providing customer service assistance.
  • Prepare correspondence, including letters and memos.
  • Research files for reports and projects.
  • Collect and compile data for reports, ensuring accuracy of databases.
  • Provide customer service assistance to internal and external parties.
  • Perform accounting and financial record-keeping activities, including daily/monthly deposits and preparing reports for invoices.
  • Provide a wide range of clerical and data entry support duties, including updating departmental forms, preparing records for storage, and scanning records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of office clerical support experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of administrative/clerical practices and processes.
  • Knowledge of standard office software applications.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and protocol.
  • Knowledge of record-keeping and basic accounting processes.
