Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue within a specific region or territory. This role will work closely with the Client Relations team to provide resources and guidance to dealers, focusing on product knowledge, training, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed budget goals and strategic annual results.
  • Partner with the sales management team to drive initiatives that maximize sales revenue and assigned objectives.
  • Conduct dealer training to increase profitability and product sales penetration.
  • Utilize approved training and marketing materials to support dealer efforts.
  • Assist dealers in complying with applicable laws and regulations through best practice reviews and ongoing training.
  • Market and facilitate agent/dealer participation in comprehensive F&I certification and training classes.
  • Ensure dealer personnel are trained on features, benefits, and value adds of our product offerings.
  • Implement action plans for increased sales of product suite offerings.
  • Initiate and drive deeper agent/dealer relationships and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
  • 3+ years of retail F&I/Sales experience.
  • Must be enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and able to run their own schedule.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to take ownership and drive business.
  • Experience in delivering in-store F&I training.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful training.
  • Excellent communications and public speaking skills.
  • Extensive menu selling knowledge/experience.
  • Proficient in selling F&I products.
  • Experienced in sales development.
  • Experienced in hands-on training of dealership personnel.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key dealer personnel and work closely with agents & dealers to develop win/win strategies to improve productivity.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
